Apparently... there is an account, from medieval times, of a person walking into a room and being confronted with the sight of a man transfixed. The man in the room is holding something in his hands, staring at it. His eyes are glazed. His lips are moving soundlessly. His soul is elsewhere. The onlooker, unsettled, concludes that the man has been possessed by an evil spirit. In fact, he is simply doing something the onlooker has never seen done before: reading a book.
Some dude named Robbie Cooper made this short to capture children's faces as they play violent videogames and form the basis of an art project that thinks could also help us understand the effects of spending time in a virtual world. Its quite a kool watch and the article is a very interesting read.
(the fact that just by hearing; i know the first game being played is Tekken 5, and the girl has picked Feng Wei, while the computer is Asuka Kazama, and that they are on the Waterfall level reminds how good I am at that game. £60 says you can't beat me at Tekken 5)

i dont know why but i found this excruciating to watch, i couldnt even make it to the end, i got to 2:37
it creeped me out lol.
Man that article was wicked especially the online bit how people portray themselves in an unreal universe, we all can get absorbed into something. The way I see it is no matter how absorbed into something you are whether it'd be a book film etc it's merely just escaping from reality if only for an hour or two, of course it's not real you don't forget that.... but it'd be nice if i was a lvl 75 PLD with my +1 sword.
£60 for beatin you at Tekken quid bring it on, granted I realized it was Tekken 5 and I knew who were fighting but you got the level too... bravo.
I challenge you to a Tekken duel name the time and place!!!
